Throughout the year, there are fairs and festivals, shows and exhibitions, pageants and celebrations. So much so, that it is next to impossible to list them all.
If music is your passion, there are many festivals to attend, such as Umbria Jazz, Trasimeno Blues, or the Live Rock Festival. Theatre is also an important tradition in these parts and both the Bruscello and the Teatro Povero di Montichiello are a must-see.
If it is food and wine you are after, you have come to the right place. Every summer there is the Calici di Stelle festival with innumerable opportunities to taste the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, as well as local traditional Italian cuisine.
Siena is not far and the Palio is the most famous of Tuscan pageants. But there are many others, with long histories and smaller crowds, such as the Bravio delle Botti in Montepulciano, or the Carnevale di Foiano, one of the oldest carnivals in Italy.
There are also smaller events, such as the Festa della Madonna del Cerro dedicated to traditional venison cooking, or the annual Wine & Bikers gathering, as well as arts and crafts markets and many more.
We will be happy to tell you all that is going on when you are here, just ask us.
