The local cuisine is world famous, but full of dishes that have not yet been discovered. You should try the handmade pici eaten with the aglione della Valdichiana, the venison ragĂș, the Chianina beef or the salami made from Cinta Senese pork.

And if you are vegetarian, you will appreciate the Fagiolina del Trasimeno, the Pecorino di Pienza and the typical Tuscan cavolo nero.
